Welcome to Doppleganger! We are building this page to showcase bands and musicians and to give people yet another place to find out about new and exciting bands. We hope that in these pages you will find out about people that you have never heard of before, as well as finding favorites.
We also hope that the musician resources here will be of some assistance to bands and artists, as well as giving them an outlet to present themselves to new audiences. We hope that by opening up some lines of communication that we will be able to share our resouces among many different bands. As one of my friends is well known to say, "We're all in this together!"

Band Reviews
These are performance reviews to give the readers an idea of what the bands are like when they perform live. Just as a fair warning, we usually review performances that we enjoyed more so than just any old performance. So if a performance goes really bad, it is most likely that you just won't read about it here. We've had some really bad performances ourselves and would hate for the world to judge us on one miserable night.
CD Reviews
Reviews of CDs that we have. Sometimes there will be CD reviews of bands that are also reviewed under the Band Reviews and sometimes we will only have the CD. It depends on whether we have seen them perform or not! Some of the CDs will be available in stores, and some only on web sites or at concerts. Some won't be available at all because they might be demos that have been sent to us, or pre-release copies. You never know what will pop up in this area, so you might want to check on it regularly.
Photo Gallery
When we go to performances we typically have a camera going and we like to try to get some good shots of the bands that will enhance a review. Sometimes we get carried away and sometimes we hardly get a shot. But we will share whatever we can. Some shots may be from other folks who send them to us as well.

Musician Resources
This is a list of web pages or physical addresses of the support areas of the Independent Music Industry. You will find web pages where songs can be sold or information about the band can be uploaded. There will also be links to web pages that can offer loads of help to musicians.
Music Industry
Things are changing. It's not like it was a few years ago, much less 20 years ago. Where is it heading? How can we take advantage of where it's going? What the heck is happening anyway? We are all looking for answers, and maybe if we all talk about it a little bit, we can figure it all out.

This is a spot for those places that get involved or that musicians get involved in, that don't directly relate to the music industry, but are good places to know about.
We have some thoughts about some other neat things that we can do. We might start a collection of "One Sheets" from the bands and share that under a different area. We are also considering an area where we will either host or link to videos that the bands supply. We are not certain how that will work out, but we'll see. If you have any ideas on what would make this page more interesting, please let us know.
